W. umgestempelt, #73547, 23,6 x 36,5 cm, schwarz, weiß, DB, Rückseite geklebt, dekorativ. The company’s roots go back to 1822. At that time, professor Franz Anton Ritter von Gerstner dedicated himself to the preporatory work for a railroad line between Danube and Moldau. In 1824 he received the concession for the railway. But, it took more than 30 years until the empress Elizabeth line was developed under the direction of the same name company. The railway was nationalized already in 1881 and the shares were converted into treasury bonds.
