The interior with new green felt lining. Each octagonal barrel with over 90% of original blue. Thomas Cartmell was a Doncaster based Gunsmith with premises at the High Street, Doncaster, between 1817-1827. Each gun 24 cm long. The barrel 11cm long. In a mahogany case.

Description: After John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851), "Great White Heron", No. 57, Plate CCLXXXI, from Birds of America, hand-colored engraving by Robert Havell, the elephant folio watermarked "J. Whatman 1836", sheet size 25-1/4" x 39-5/8". Unframed.

Condition Report: In overall good condition, retaining good color intensity and professionally restored by Joel Oppenheimer Inc., Chicago, IL. The margins are trimmed with left and right margins fluorescing under UV light. Scattered repairs to lower margin edge which also fluoresce under UV light. UV light exhibits two diagonal, linear repairs to upper left corner; two minor spots in the lower portion of the bird's feathers; one spot in the upper margin edge; a small l-shape inpainting repair to the right portion of print. Minor scattered foxing to lower portion and upper left portion of the print (two yellowish spots in the lower portion of the print). Minor crease to lower edge. Top edges with restorer's tape on the reverse.

Provenance: Estate of a private collector, London. Turner first visited Yorkshire in 1797 and returned there throughout his life, inspired by the spirituality he found in its glorious landscapes. He visited more than 70 places, sketching and painting views from many different angles. Joseph Mallord William Turner was one of Britain's greatest landscape painters, watercolorists, and printmakers. Renowned as 'the painter of light', Turner's work helped to place romantic landscape painting on a par with history painting in the 19th Century, as well as planting the seeds of Impressionism. Description: Details: This collection of antique and vintage estate toys includes the following items: a "Little Traveler's Sewing Kit," made in 1941 by the Transogram Company of New York. The suitcase-shaped box has a real brass clasp, and comes with a 6.5" composition doll and scraps of fabric to make her clothes. Also included is a pair of scissors, a tiny thimble, two wooden spools of cotton thread, dolly dress patterns, needle and thread.a mechanical, wind-up, marching "Cadet," a toy soldier with a celluloid head and metal body, in its original box. Made in Japan, the toy is 6" tall.a 1950s figural china box, in the shape of a cute little girl. Five inches tall, it is stamped, "Created by Earl Bernard Made in Japan."a boxed set of four small blown glass Christmas ornaments in the shape of dolls or children 3" tall, made in Czechoslovakia for Kurt Adler.a set of four "Antique Doll Jig-Saw Puzzles."
