Description: Four Pieces of Capodimonte, 20th c., consisting of a lidded tankard, and a covered tankard, both with relief battle scenes, a cream pitcher with putti in the clouds, and a large ewer with a satyr handle, the spout with a putto riding a hippocampus, over a relief band of cavorting putti, on mermaid supports on a circular base, Ewer- H.- 14 in., W.- 7 in., D.- 5 1/4 in.

Condition Report: Condition consistent with age. The tankard cover has a 1/2" shallow chip on the gilt rim (repaired with gold paint). The tankard has a fleabite chip on the top rim and several hairline firing flaw cracks on the base. The ewer has an apparent repair to a 1" section on the right side of the spout (barely visible) and the porcelain has yellowed somewhat on the interior. There is a firing flaw hairline crack across the belly of one putti on the ewer. There is some light wear to the painted decoration throughout. A charming set. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD 'AS IS.'
