This is one of an estimated 170 iron frame models manufactured towards the end of production. The left side of the top strap is marked "MY FRIEND" along with the 1865 patent date. The five-shot cylinder is plain while the iron frame features a scroll and punch dot engraving on the sides and engraved accents on the front and on the top strap. A star burst type engraving is featured behind the hammer and the back of the grip area has a checkered panel. The cylinder and cylinder pin are numbered to the gun.

Gauge: 32
Finish: nickel
Grips: metal
Serial Number: 17390
Condition: Fair, with 25% of the original nickel finish concentrated on the cylinder, with an even gray patina overall, spotting and mild handling marks. Mechanically good.
