Description: A George III silver coffee pot, the baluster shaped body with cast spout and and circular footrim, the body embossed and chased in the Neo-classical manner with ribbons and acanthus leaf swags, with conforming cast spout, the lid and footrim with embossed leaf ornament and bead mounts, with later ebonised handle, 11.75ins high, by W.C., London 1774 (ebonised handle later replacement and body generally worn with creases and dents - gross weight 29ozs)
