Transcription: Sept. 2 1984 Southern Island Maine Dear Dick, Here I am at our lighthouse. It's a clear afternoon with a light breeze blowing from the North. As I look toward the South West I can see Monhegan Island where Jamie is also a few white sails are on the horizon. I have been working on a watercolor here of the light for the past two days. A safe place to be on Labor Day Weekend!! Keep the baskets for us till I return. I plan to come down for the opening the 15th. My warmest wishes to you both, Andy
