Description:
Estimate: $1200 - 1800
A) Engraved frame with "J.R. COPPER'S PATENT" on left side. British proofs are present on each barrel cluster flute.
BBL: 3 inch fluted
Stock:
Gauge: 36 percussion
Finish: blue
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: nsn
Condition: Fine. The barrel cluster retains 70% original blue finish showing some minor thinning. There is some minor pitting (mostly concentrated on trigger). The silver is fine with clear engraving. The refinished grips are very good with some putty near the frame and ill-fitting at the butt. Mechanically fine.
- B) Engraved frame, trigger guard and hammer with maker's marking on the side plate. British proofs between the barrel chambers which are numbered 1-6. Serial number stamped behind hammer with "3" stamped on trigger guard and both grips.

Stock:
Gauge: 28 Percussion
Finish: blue/casehardened
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 65
Condition: Very good. The barrel cluster and trigger guard retain streaks of bright original blue finish and the frame retains an area of original case colors ahead of the hammer otherwise a smooth gray patina. The grips are fine with a number of minor handling marks and most of the varnish remaining.
