A three page typed letter with annotations and one page cover letter, signed by Taft and addressed to ''E.M. Moore, Esq., The Public Ledger, Room 540 Postal Telegraph Building, Chicago'', dated October 2nd 1920 and requesting to put the enclosed letter ''on the wire over the leased line to the Public Ledger''.
