Description: An early 20th Century live steam model, 3 ‡î gauge 0-4-0 locomotive ìInvictaî, constructed in brass with forward cylinders mounted at 45 degrees, the locomotive has no footplate, painted in green with 4-wheel tender; the model is a representation of the Robert Stephenson locomotive built in 1829 (after the Rocket) and used on the Canterbury & Whitstable Railway (1830-1836), the model is not contemporary and was probably built c1900, the nameplates are modern, overall length 19î (48cm), Good Plus to Excellent.
