Book Details: This lot includes the group of antique books on the U. S. Navy shown in the corresponding image(s). Among the titles in this collection are J. Fenimore Cooper's "History of the Navy of the United States of America" (G. P. Putnam & Co., 1853), a three-volumes-in-one edition with 7 engravings, 5 portraits and 2 maps, and "Notes on the Year's Naval Progress: Annual of the Office of Naval Intelligence, Compiled for the Use of Naval Officers and Others.
