Manufactered from 1871 to 1888. The pistol has the standard factory scroll engraving with the top barrel flat marked with the two line address/patent date. Fitted with smooth bird head grips.
BBL: 3 inch octagon
Gauge: 32 RF
Finish: nickel
Grips: rosewood
Serial Number: NSN
Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 75% original nickel finish with the balance a smooth gray patina showing a few large patches of light pitting on the bottom of the magazine tube. The engraving is crisp. The hammer retains traces of original niter blue finish. The grips are very good and a repaired left panel with a few mild handling marks. Mechanically functions, but hammer spring is weak.
