Description: Pair of Hand Painted Porcelain Chargers, c. 1890, with scalloped gilt and relief decorated borders with central reserves of lovers in a garden, signed Gabriel, Dia.- 13 1/2 in.

Condition Report: Condition consistent with age. Scattered gilt loss around the outer edge of the rims on both plates. Some minor surface scratches in the painted decoration. Light craquelure to the surface of the paint in the figures' clothing. There is a small break in the porcelain on the back of one charger where the wire plate hanger inserts in the base.
