Looking for the realized and estimated price?

Description: serial #7993, 41 Colt, 6" barrel with a very good bore. This revolver features very handsome New York style engraving and wears a lovely, period silver plated finish overall. The engraving includes scroll on the frame, cylinder and barrel with geometric designs on the backstrap and more scroll on bow of triggerguard. The left top edge of frame, below cylinder, shows three old dings. The revolver retains 97% of a lovely old silver plated finish which has taken on a beautiful smoky gray blue tarnish. The revolver wears its original smooth ivory grips which have taken on a fabulous warm yellow patina and rate excellent with no chips. The accompanying factory letter shows this gun as a single gun shipment, blued with ivories to H.D. Folsom, in New York on June 1, 1878. While it was not shipped "soft", being a single gun shipment with ivory grips to such a large dealer, this was obviously a special order and was likely engraved upon its arrival in New York. A very handsome Thunderer. (15506-52) {ANTIQUE}
