AUCTION SALES SERVICE FOR CLIENTS
Potential Clients Good are Inspected by prior appointment on their premises and arrangements can be made for the disposal of all goods including those deemed to be unsuitable for auction.
Thus homes can be cleared satisfactorily. This is of particular assistance to Trustees and Executors.

Avisory Service for people to call into our office for advice on small items, by appointment.

Removals arranged with Contractors where required. These will be charged by the Contractor in addition to our fees.

For smaller consignments we can collect at a small remuneration.

All removals are supervised by us.

We are prepared to travel some distance to carry out calls.

Accountancy to Vendors
We forward a list of items entered for sale.
A Catalogue and note of lots entered is sent a week before the sale.
The Account is posted 14 Days after the sale with itemised list of prises realised.

Our Charges are per lot

11% over £100 - 16% under £100 - 16% for arranging house clearances.

All auction advice is offered free of charge. Robert and Sarah Inman will guide you through the stages of selling by auction from the initial inspection, advising on saleroom estimates, supervising transport and keeping you up to date with sale dates and a note of what each lot realised with the final statement.

We act for the major Banks as well as local and other Solicitors, organising the disposal of house contents as well as carrying out valuations for Inheritance Tax Purposes.

CHATTELS VALUATION SERVICE

Probate Valuations and Executor's Services

Dealing with a Deceased Estate is often both traumatic and time consuming for the family involved. In a single visit we can carry our a full Probate listing or a Global Valuation of the contents. From this we can arrange the dispersal of the contents to beneficiaries, or for sale at Auction as required.

Charges: 5% up to £1000, 2.50% thereafter, plus VAT.

Valuations for Insurance

Today, we experience an ever increasing risk of theft or damage to private property. More and more Insurance Companies require items of Antiquity or particularly high value to be professionally valued.

We can provide you with a detailed list of items you wish to cover. One copy should be lodged with your Insurance Company as proof that you possess the listed items.

You should have the valuation updated every five years even if you policy is Index-Linked as Antiques may change disproportionately to the RPI.

Charges: 1% plus VAT.

Current Market Value and Willing Buyer/Seller

In situations involving private sales.

Charges: 5% up to £1000, 2.50% thereafter, plus VAT.

WRITTEN VALUATIONS COMPRISE THREE CERTIFIED COPIES.

OUR MINIMUM FEE FOR VALUATIONS IS £80 PLUS VAT.
