  From April 2009, the Northampton Salerooms will be merged with the existing Towcester Salerooms to form ‘The Northamptonshire Auction Centre’ at Silverstone Business Park, Towcester. This is in keeping with our long-term strategic plan and coincides with the imminent lease expiry of the Northampton Saleroom at the end of March 2009.
  
  The Northamptonshire Auction Centre will offer a dedicated upper General Saleroom with on-site coffee shop, generous parking, heating, loading bay, and is only 12 miles from the Northampton Salerooms (15 mins) Situated at the hub of the motorway and trunk road network, the site offers convenient access to buyer and seller alike.
  
  We will continue the current regime of twice monthly General sales and will maintain the same telephone number and contact details. Our monthly Fine Art, Antiques and Specialist Sales from the main saleroom at Towcester will be unaffected. Jeanette McFadden and Steve Hollowell will continue to run the General Sales and it will very much be business as usual but in a site more appropriate to our customers needs with the added benefits of having everything under one roof.
  
  Our first General Sale at the Northamptonshire Auction Centre will be Wednesday 22nd April at 6pm. Viewing Tuesday 21st Midday-7pm. Please note, the Freehold Street premises will be closed as of Friday 27th March.
  
  We will be pleased to welcome all our Northampton customers at Towcester shortly.

  J P Humbert Auctioneers Ltd is a new and qualitative provincial Auction house based in the market town of Towcester, Northamptonshire and established in July 2003.

  The Managing Director and Auctioneer is Jonathan Humbert, who was educated at Stowe School. Jonathan has been in the antique trade for a number of years, formally trading as Corinthian Antiques of Buckingham. There have been Auctioneers in Jonathan's family for five generations, starting with Charles Humbert of Watford in 1841.

  The Finance Director is Suzanne Horner who was educated at the Radcliffe College. Both Jonathan and Sue are keen to promote their business in Towcester, not only because it is well situated near to Milton Keynes and Northampton, well served with major trunk roads such as A5, M1, A43 and M40, but also because the facilities at the sale rooms themselves are some of the best in the area.

  There is on-site parking for 240 cars, excellent security, the sale- rooms are well lit, pleasantly warm and at over 5000 sq. ft, extremely spacious. There is also a covered loading area. The business also enlists the services of a team of professionals who are specialists in their fields for the purposes of valuation and advice.
