Description: This is an empty 250 rd. size one piece cardboard picture box measuring 6 1/2"x4"x2" with the top and bottom panels exhibiting only the trademark image of Robin Hood with bow and ready to take aim with the hilly landscape as a backdrop. This graphic is in black only as is the text on the tan colored box which features an intersecting interior end flap as well as the standard in folding flap on either end. Each reads "250 .38 cal. S. & W./Central Fire/Shot-Cartridges/Robin Hood Ammunition Co." One side panel reads "These Cartridges are adapted to Smith & Wesson and/other Revolvers using .38 Cal. Cartridges/High Velocity Extreme Penetration Light Recoil/Superior To Any On The Market/Robin Hood Ammunition Co./ Swanton, Vermont. The top has a significant glue repair as about a third of the panel was separating and has begun to do so once again. The bottom has a five inch diagonal tear that has been glued and reinforced with a glued on additional section of cardboard. The right side has an untouched three inch tear and the box has lost some of its structural stability as one side is beginning to fold in. The tan cardboard surfaces exhibit areas of light dirt and minor wear at some edge points and a few spots of glue residue. (76678-56)
