Description: AN IMPORTANT PIECE OF MARITIME HISTORY and of TITANIC INTEREST, a pasted down postal package address label on brown paper from Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co., Hall Street Works, Chelmsford, to Titanic, C/O The White Star Line, Southampton, Per Parcel Post, 11 Apr. 1912, taken from a parcel which should have been delivered and given to our vendor's predecessors by the First Officer on the Olympic, with a photograph of Alec Bagot, Marconi Operator, a photograph of the apparatus and notepaper from RMS Olympic and SS Kronprinz Wilhelm. Provence: The paper folder with the label was given to our late vendor by his mother who died in 1972, She lived in Southampton, was a dancer and artist. She was a good friend of the 1st Officer on the Olympic (Titanic's Sister Ship) who gave it to her The parcel probably missed the sailing by about two hours. Estimate: Refer Dept.
