Caroline Armington (Canadian, 1875 - 1939), "Sail Boats at Stockholm," etching, signed lower right and editioned 15/100 at lower left, also signed, titled and adted 1928 in the plate, several notes verso about the artist, measures 9.25 x 11.75 inches to the plate mark, overall 17.50 x 20.50 inches framed. CONDITION: Good, discoloration/toning to a portion of the print field. Armington began her formal training in Paris at the Academie Julian where she would meet and marry fellow student, Frank Milton Armington (1876-1940). She is known for her paintings, engravings and watercolors depicting the streets Paris, quaint canals of Bruges-La-Morte and landscapes, which were all painted plein-aire.
