RUSSIAN MIXED MEDIA PAINTING BY ANATOLII BELKIN

    Est: $100 - $150

Anatolii or Anataly Paulevich Belkin, Russian, born 1953, collage mixed media painting on canvas with black and white photographs, Double Self Portrait, 1997. Signed and dated, lower to the center. Additionally inscribed, titled, dated, and stamped, on the backside. Anataly Belkin is known as a painter, graphic artist, installation master, as a media hero and bearer of the cultural memory of Leningrad Petersburg from the underground era to the present day. Being a modern artist, Belkin never abandoned painting and traditional artistic values in the broad sense in which they had developed by the end of the twentieth century. Color, composition, technology and the painting process itself have not lost their charm for him. Sometimes he combines painting with collage techniques, using unexpected materials, for example, giant leaves of tropical plants, etc. Belkins works are characterized by surprise, decorativeness, and intellectuality. Russian Fine Art, Collage Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
