Die Vision des hl. Hieronymus. Radierung nach Federico Zuccaro. 22,5 x 14,7 cm. Hollstein 6. Wz. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalogue.

Jan de Bisschop, The Temple of Vesta in Rome

    Est: €15,000 - €20,000

Jan de Bisschop's entire artistic oeuvre consists of drawings and prints, which is probably due to the fact that he came from a very wealthy family and was actually trained as a lawyer. There is no documentation of a trip to Italy, but it is very likely that he traveled there in the summer of 1657. In just a few months, he produced over 75 vedute of Rome and its surroundings, including this view of the Temple of Vesta, drawn with the finest pen.

Bisschop, Jan de: Josef verteilt das Korn in Ägypten

    Est: €3,600 - €4,500

[*] Josef verteilt das Korn in Ägypten. Radierung nach Bartholomeus Breenbergh. 49,7 x 69,8 cm. Hollstein 1 II (von III). Wz. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalogue.
