MICHAEL BUTHE (1944 in Sonthofen -1994 Bad Godesberg) Objektkasten Assemblage, Collage und Acryl auf Holz, außen goldfarben gefasst, 83,5 x 62,5 x 10 cm, klappbar. Michael Buthe wurde am 1. August 1944 in Sonthofen geboren und verstarb am 15. November 1994 in Bad Godesberg. Er war ein bedeutender deutscher Künstler, der vor allem als Maler, Bildhauer, Collageur und Buchkünstler bekannt wurde. Buthe studierte an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, wo er unter anderem von Joseph Beuys beeinflusst wurde. Seine Werke zeichnen sich durch eine außergewöhnliche Vielseitigkeit aus und bewegen sich zwischen Malerei, Assemblagen, Installationen und Performances. In den 1970er-Jahren begann Buthe, regelmäßig zwischen Deutschland und Marokko zu pendeln. Diese Reisen prägten seine Kunst stark, da sie Elemente orientalischer Kultur und Mystik in sein Werk einfließen ließen. Er entwickelte eine unverwechselbare Bildsprache, die sich durch eine intensive Farbigkeit, ornamentale Strukturen und spirituelle Symbolik auszeichnet. Michael Buthe stellte international aus und war Teilnehmer bedeutender Ausstellungen, darunter die documenta 5 (1972), 6 (1977) und 7 (1982) in Kassel. Seine Werke sind heute in zahlreichen renommierten Sammlungen und Museen vertreten, die sein Vermächtnis als eine der faszinierendsten Figuren der deutschen Nachkriegskunst bewahren. Das Kunstwerk von Michael Buthe ist ein Objektkasten, der die Vielschichtigkeit seiner künstlerischen Praxis eindrucksvoll widerspiegelt. Die Assemblage kombiniert Collage-Elemente und Acrylmalerei auf Holz und wird durch eine goldfarbene Rahmung akzentuiert. Der klappbare Kasten lädt den Betrachter ein, die verborgene Welt seines Inneren zu entdecken. Die Komposition vereint ornamentale Details mit einer intensiven Farbpalette, die an orientalische und spirituelle Einflüsse erinnert. Die Verwendung von Gold verleiht dem Werk eine sakrale Aura und verweist auf Buthes Faszination für religiöse und kulturelle Symbolik.

MICHAEL BUTHE (1944 in Sonthofen -1994 Bad Godesberg) Objektkasten Assemblage, Collage und Acryl auf Holz, außen goldfarben gefasst, 83,5 x 62,5 x 10 cm, klappbar. Michael Buthe wurde am 1. August 1944 in Sonthofen geboren und verstarb am 15. November 1994 in Bad Godesberg. Er war ein bedeutender deutscher Künstler, der vor allem als Maler, Bildhauer, Collageur und Buchkünstler bekannt wurde. Buthe studierte an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, wo er unter anderem von Joseph Beuys beeinflusst wurde. Seine Werke zeichnen sich durch eine außergewöhnliche Vielseitigkeit aus und bewegen sich zwischen Malerei, Assemblagen, Installationen und Performances. In den 1970er-Jahren begann Buthe, regelmäßig zwischen Deutschland und Marokko zu pendeln. Diese Reisen prägten seine Kunst stark, da sie Elemente orientalischer Kultur und Mystik in sein Werk einfließen ließen. Er entwickelte eine unverwechselbare Bildsprache, die sich durch eine intensive Farbigkeit, ornamentale Strukturen und spirituelle Symbolik auszeichnet. Michael Buthe stellte international aus und war Teilnehmer bedeutender Ausstellungen, darunter die documenta 5 (1972), 6 (1977) und 7 (1982) in Kassel. Seine Werke sind heute in zahlreichen renommierten Sammlungen und Museen vertreten, die sein Vermächtnis als eine der faszinierendsten Figuren der deutschen Nachkriegskunst bewahren. Das Kunstwerk von Michael Buthe ist ein Objektkasten, der die Vielschichtigkeit seiner künstlerischen Praxis eindrucksvoll widerspiegelt. Die Assemblage kombiniert Collage-Elemente und Acrylmalerei auf Holz und wird durch eine goldfarbene Rahmung akzentuiert. Der klappbare Kasten lädt den Betrachter ein, die verborgene Welt seines Inneren zu entdecken. Die Komposition vereint ornamentale Details mit einer intensiven Farbpalette, die an orientalische und spirituelle Einflüsse erinnert.
