Raymond Campbell Sold at Auction Prices

b. 1956 -

Born in 1956 in Surrey, England, artist Raymond Campbell decided as a young boy to make painting his livelihood. He turned down an opportunity to formally study art, deciding to try on his own. By the age of 22, he had already developed a unique style. Subsequent travels throughout Europe studying the Old Masters influenced Campbell's style, particularly, the early 17th century Dutch artists.

Done in oil, many Raymond Campbell paintings depict still life images, and often include fine wine, cheeses, and food. Other favorite topics in Raymond Campbell paintings include landscapes, especially seascapes. As his work became more widely recognized, the value of Raymond Campbell prints increased. His work is widely popular in the UK, USA, and Australia, and has been exhibited in Royal Academy of Arts summer exhibitions on four separate occasions. Enliven your home with the many painters of fine still life paintings available for purchase at Invaluable.
