Chuck Caplinger Sold at Auction Prices

Chuck Caplinger is a master at portraying the wildlife and landscapes of the desert Southwest in his murals and oils on canvas. The Texas-born artist and his actress wife, Holgie Forrester, moved to Twentynine Palms, CA, in the Mojave Desert in 1997, trading a Hollywood studio for a spacious dome home near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The dome became Caplinger’s world headquarters for DESERT ART STUDIO & GALLERY.

Caplinger’s oil paintings and portraits hang in public and private collections around the world, and his murals can be found in Twentynine Palms and throughout Southern California, as well as Texas. Original paintings and prints are for sale in his Desert Art Studio & Gallery (open by appointment), and he is available for painting commissions, custom portraits, murals, mural consulting, and private art instruction.
