Cindy Pwerle Morton is a young Utopian artist who is emerging as an artist to watch and collect. Cindy comes from a family of artists – her mother is well-known artist Gracie Pwerle Morton and her aunts include Kathleen and Gloria Petyarre, both established Aboriginal artists. Cindy has developed her art alongside of her mother and family and is finding her own unique style of painting.
Cindy initially followed traditional techniques and patterns, Cindy has also developed her own individual sense of design and style. Her mother is Gracie Pwerle Morton, a highly regarded and collectable Utopian artist and niece to the internationally renowned Kathleen and Gloria Petyarre. With her artistic background, no doubt why Cindy’s works are fast becoming extremely popular – as several successful exhibitions will confirm that.
