Biography

Iconic American illustrator and artist Benton Henderson Clark was born in 1895 in Coshocton, Ohio. Having grown up around his father’s harness shop, he put his knowledge of horses to use creating Benton Henderson Clark paintings and artwork for sale. Heavily influenced by artists like Remington, Hoffman, and Dunn, Clark’s most famous works contributed to the Western genre. Artist Benton Henderson Clark died at the age of 69.
