Artist Pascal Cucaro was born in Ohio in 1915, and he passed his childhood summers working in the circus. His time spent among the performers at the circus led to a life-long interest in clowns and everyday circus life. Oil painter Pascal Cucaro produced his larger artworks in his studio, but he created sketches and watercolors during his travels in the Army during WWII. He also studied art on his own in Europe before returning to the States. Artist Pascal Cucaro was multitalented and experimented with different mediums, including lithography and enamel on copper.
