Banksy stamp on the back from DismalandA faux American Express card aptly adjusted to read American Depress is a great example of D*Face's iconic humor playing on consumer issues of common people. The size and medium directly imitate an actual card and inscribed at the bottom is the indentation of "Your Name" lower left. Among other street artists, D*Face has eagerly been entering the auction market, possibly another subliminal play from him as using your American Express to invest in the American Depress.This screenprint on perspex was created in 2008 at a show he had in London. The artist's ink stamp is on the verso and it measures 2 1/4 x 3 1/5 inches, just like your credit card.D*Face (BRITISH)D*face is most known for his graffiti art originating in London. His first major London solo exhibition,”Death & Glory,” was sold out in 2006 at the Stolenspace gallery.
