Sandro Diani was born in Venice, Italy in 1937 and began painting at the age of thirteen. At fifteen he had his first one-man show and turned professional the same year. Sandro had twenty six one-man shows in the major capitals of Europe as well as New York and Canada and participated in numerous international group shows. From 1960 to 2006 Sandro lived and worked primarily in New York City and then moved to Suffolk County, Long Island where he continued to paint until his death in 2017.His works include landscapes, nudes, images of Venice his bithplace, and works of social unrest, change, and passion.
