Namentlich aber liebt er die Darstellung des Kinderlebens, das er mit aller der demselben eigenen Reinheit, Unschuld, Naivität und Anmuth und mit all der unerschöpflichen Mannigfaltigkeit seiner Erscheinung wieder zu geben weiss.
