Reprinted in Italy with the title "The Navigator of Spaces" in the monthly Galaxy in September 1960.

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings is best remembered as the author of her Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Yearling (1938). The Rawlings Estate allowed her Newbery Honor Book The Secret River (1955) to be adapted as a picture book.
