The lips are blood-red, the large, full hair pitch black with combs and flower-like ornaments within. The signature IN-SHO sei 印象 生on the upper left as well as three red seals of the artist. There is an entire museum dedicated to Domoto Insho in Kyoto, the Domoto Art Museum. The draft at hand originates from an earlier time, as Domoto later dedicated himself to abstract art. The mounting partly embellished with floral décor makes a good impression, with incised end knobs.
