His stylized work is characterized by its heavy use of phthalo blue, an intensely blue-green pigment, which he employs to form representational images of city architecture, nature scenes, and figures in motion. Born in 1951, he went on to receive his BA from the College of Wooster in Ohio and an MFA from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Dunlop has since exhibited his works in numerous galleries in Connecticut, Florida, and Oregon, and has been collected by several major corporations such as Aetna Insurance, Citibank, Delta Airlines, and GE, among others.
