Art Deco style porcelain figural group attributed to Karl Ens, Germany. The polychrome sculpture depicts two Borzois, also known as Russian Wolfhounds, captured in a dynamic, mid-leap running stride. One dog is finished in a predominantly tan and white palette, while the second features white fur with large patches of dark brown and tan. The group is mounted on a white porcelain rockwork-style base, which is set into a polished, reddish-brown mahogany-style oval wooden plinth. The figures feature naturalistic anatomical details, including flowing coats and open mouths with visible tongues.
