Paperwork/Provenance: Attached en verso of Fitton's is a label from F. H. Bresler Co., Mke. Condition: Chamberlain's has been trimmed and mounted to a reinforced backing. Its matting shows discoloration. Fitton's also has discoloration to its matting. The etching has minor mat burn. Measurement(s): 14" x 16" and 21 1/2" x 16" (frames). In-house shipping is available. Produced in 1905, "Ponte di Rialto, Venice" is a side view of the large renaissance bridge on the left, with balusters along the steps towards the top of the bridge, number of figures crossing the bridge, few gondolas on the Grand Canal below on the right, restaurant on the other side of the canal in the right middle distance, part of tower in the background visible above roofs. Published in 1922, "The House of Columbus, Genoa" shows the birthplace of Christopher Columbs on the right; a street with a tall archway between the buildings on either side, a round tower rising behind on the left, crowded with people, including three figures talking in the right foreground in front of a house with a plaque above labelled 'In hac domo natus est Christophorus Columnus Ao MCCCCXIVI." - Etching 14 1/4 X 13
