Also in the group is a small collection of seven railroad themed stamps. Height of comics range from 3 in to 5 1/2 in; width ranges from 3 1/2 in to 5 1/2 in. (Each, Framed) Height: 12 in x width: 26 3/4 in.

    Fontaine Talbot Fox, Jr. (American, 1884-1964). Group of original drawings and newspaper cuttings of cartoons and illustrations, most wishing the reader Merry Christmas through the years. Also in the group is a small collection of seven railroad themed stamps. Provenance: Collection of the James J. Hill Reference Library. Certain individuals are prohibited by law to purchase items in this auction. Descendants of James J. Hill within three generations (Great Grandchildren and closer) are not allowed to purchase items. Additionally, board members of the foundation and their families (spouses, children, spouses of children, grandchildren) are also prohibited from purchasing items.

    Fontaine Fox Toonerville Trolley. Copyright 1922. Tested, does not include key. Provenance: From the estate of Clint Max Miller of Seattle and most recently Walla Walla. Clint was a history buff and an avid antiques collector and appraiser. He was particularly interested in antique and collectible toys, lamps and lighting, antique militaria, and British militaria. If lot is absent of a condition report one may be requested via email. Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective. Buyer must view photographs or scans to assist in determining condition and ask further questions if so desired. Our in-house shipping department will gladly pack and ship any item that fits into a 14x14x14 inch or 30x5x24 inch or equivalent or smaller box/folio if it is not fragile or over 25lbs.
