        SAMUEL GIDEON (1875-1945) Untitled Circus Scene Watercolor 11.5in. x 14.25in. Signed lower right Samuel Gideon studied architecture at Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He went on to attend the American School of Fine Arts in Fontainebleau, France. Gideon also went to Columbia University. Gideon taught architecture at Texas A&M, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Texas. This vibrant light-filled watercolor catches the excitement of the circus come-to-town.
