Over the years I have explored its symbolic qualities from being sunlit and inviting to its dark hidden depths...' (Carol Graham, 2006). The steps create the invitation to enter...' (Carol Graham, 2006). Born in Belfast, Graham studied at the Belfast College of Art. As the current President of the Royal Ulster Academy, she has had numerous solo exhibitions including those at The Arts Council Gallery, Belfast; The Tom Caldwell Gallery, Belfast and The Engine Room, Belfast.
