            Portfolio Set of Limited Edition Lithographs by Sante Graziani in Original Box 21/90 Portfolio box by Sante Graziani titled “Homage to Ingres”. It is a collection of 10 lithographs printed in colors. Ten lithographs with selected quotations from the writings of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres. There is also a page with selected quotations in English and French. Some of the titles include “Horses Pulling”, “A Black Haired Lady Reflected”, and “The Catch” among others. Each lithograph is signed in pencil on the lower right hand corner and numbered “21/90” on the lower left hand corner. They are printed and published by Impressions Workshop of Boston. The box itself is made out of mahogany. All of the lithographs as well as the box are in excellent condition. The size of the box is 20 1/2 by 22 1/2 inches. The sizes of the lithographs are approximately 19 1/4 by 21 inches

            Beautiful mother and child painting with ocen and rainbow in background, signed by Artist Sante Graziani. Signed by Artist Sante Graziani. Sante Graziani (1920Ð2005) was an American artist and art educator. He was known for his murals, which adorned many public buildings. Graziani was educated at the Cleveland Institute of Art and later at Yale University. He met with success early in his career, winning the Pulitzer Traveling Scholarship in Art at the age of 22. Soon after military service in World War II, he began a career as an art educator. He taught at Yale University School of Art from 1946 to 1951. Graziani initially gained recognition for his murals. Among his works were a mural at the Holyoke (Mass.) Public Library and one at the Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield, Massachusetts. In the years around the United States bicentennial celebration in 1976, he produced paintings that included references to well known images of George and Martha Washington. He was commissioned to paint a colorful and decorative mural featuring an image of George Washington on the side of a building in Worcester, Massachusetts, in that era.
