Artist Trevor Grimshaw had a fascination with steam engines and industrial landscape subjects. Born in Hyde, Chesire in 1947, he later attended Stockport College. A master of industrial landscapes, Trevor Grimshaw's art for sale includes scenes from post-industrial Britain. His skill with shadow and light whether using charcoal, oil, or graphite, brought smoky factories and foggy shores to life through his art.

Artist Trevor Grimshaw did a limited series of lithographs for Christie’s Contemporary Art and also illustrated a book of poetry during his career. His artwork of steam locomotives with factory smokestacks billowing in the back, or stormy gray seas full of ships, are the most popular Trevor Grimshaw prints.
