Although American artist Frank M Hamilton was born in landlocked Missouri, he made a name for himself painting marine scenes and buildings along the California coast. After earning an architectural degree from Stanford University, he studied painting under the tutelage of leading watercolor artist Eliot O'Hara and was part of the thriving art community in Laguna Beach, California. For nearly 30 years, Frank Hamilton paintings were exhibited in one-man shows in both Laguna Beach and New York City, where he won several first place awards for his artwork.
As an architect and artist, Frank M Hamilton's paintings are characterized by a high degree of realism in their depiction of buildings and often illustrate the seasons of the year. Collectors can find Frank Hamilton artwork for sale as well as other artists landscape paintings at auction and online.
