        GROSSER BLUMENSTRAUSS IN EINER VASE Öl auf Leinwand. 76 x 68 cm. Trägt Signatur rechts unten. Das Gemälde möglicherweise als Supraporte geschaffen, wofür der oben geschweifte Abschluss spricht. Der große Blumenstrauß, ein Gesteck aus Frühsommerblumen, mit Lilien, Rosen und Strauchblüten, aber auch noch Frühlingsblumen wie Tulpen und Primeln, in einer kupferfarbenen bauchigen Henkelvase, die auf einer grauen Marmorplatte steht. Die farbig betonten Mohnblüten ragen bis in das Halbrund der oberen Rahmung hinauf. Auf dem Platte herabgefallene Blüten, daneben ein Schmetterling. Wie auch in den meisten Blumenstillleben des Malers ist der Hintergrund heller gehalten, im Gegensatz zu den frühbarocken Blumenbildern ein Merkmal der Rokoko-Zeit. (12711911) (1) (11)

        PETER HARDIME (1677-1758) Nature morte aux fleurs et aux fruits Huile sur panneau signé au monogramme en bas à gauche. Provenance : Van Ham Kunstauktionen, Cologne, 2011 et Collection privée Belgique. Peintre flamand spécialisé dans les natures mortes né à Anvers, il étudie la peinture dans sa ville natale avec son frère aîné Simon Hardimé. En 1697, il s'installe définitivement à La Haye où il deviendra membre de la confrérie des peintres en 1700. Dimensions : 38 x 30,5 cm Still life with flowers and fruits, oil on panel signed with monogram lower left. Provenance : Van Ham Kunstauctionen, Köln 2011 and Private collection, Belgium.

        (1677 Antwerpen - 1748 Den Haag) attr.; Stillleben mit Steinvase und Blumen in einer Nische Auf einem Postament stehende, bildhauerisch reich gestaltete Vase mit Maskarons, Delphinen und Tuchfestons, geschmückt mit Blütengirlanden bzw. -buketts und einzelnen Sommerblumen. Fein lasierend ausgeführtes Stillleben, dessen Motiv, Komposition und effektvoller Stil mit duftigen, leuchtend farbigen Blumen eine Zuschreibung an Pieter Hardimé evident erscheinen lassen. Der Künstler wurde sowohl von den Werken Gaspar Peeter Verbruggens als auch seinem älteren Bruder und Lehrer Simon (1672-1737) beeinflusst, mit dem er 1697 nach Den Haag ging und dort 1700 Mitglied der Confrerie van Pictura wurde.         Attributed to Pieter Hardime (Flemish/ Dutch, 1677-1758). "Flowers in Wicker Basket", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. Painting in the traditional Flemish Baroque style with still life at center resting on surface and backed by very dark solid plane, the floral arrangement gathered in a woven straw basket and comprising of roses, irises, carnations, and other small flowers with the bouquet loosely arranged and wholly contained within the basket which is set upon the left end of a table draped in deep green cloth. Label to verso of frame "Old Hall Gallery, Ltd. Iden, Rye", an important Sussex gallery. Framed approximately 29.5" x 37.5", unframed approximately 23.625" x 31.625".
