Incised signature and dated 1982, with title and edition number 12 of 15 to rim of stature on verso. Mounted on a rotating wood base with bronzed metal plaque at front. Provenance; a private collection. Dimensions: 12 X 17 X 7.5 in. Condition: Good overall condition having mild surface wear and patina. Estate fresh to the market.       Edd Hayes (Born 1945) "The Cutting Horse" Bronze Sculpture. A former rodeo bulldogger and resident of Houston, Texas, he was named the official Texas State Sculptor for 1999. One of his sculptures, "Wild and Free," featuring six life-size horses is at the entrance to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo horse arena. It was dedicated in 1992 and is 20 feet high and sits on a plinth 120 feet long. This bronze includes a certificate of authenticity from Deep in the Heart Art Foundry, a letter about the sculpture from the artist.       Edd Hayes (Born 1945) "Hookin' for Glory" Bronze Sculpture. A former rodeo bulldogger and resident of Houston, Texas, he was named the official Texas State Sculptor for 1999. One of his sculptures, "Wild and Free," featuring six life-size horses is at the entrance to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo horse arena.
