Ritratto di nobildonna Olio su tela Portrait of a noble woman Oil on canvas Dimensioni: 76 x 58 cm Sul retro porta la scritta "Jean Baptiste Koning danese lavorò a Venezia."

Unsigned. Inscription en verso center stretcher reads, "E. Holmes of the City of Bristol, widow, and Aunt of Jane Jenkyns, 1788". Note: inscription is believed to have been added later, possibly by someone mistakenly copying what was on the canvas prior to relining). Housed in a 20th century molded gilt wood frame with a 20th century brass placard reading "Joseph Highmore/1788" (again, the 1788 date is likely incorrect, as Joseph Highmore is believed to have died by 1780).
