Sold at Auction: Ruth Hilts

A Native Nevadan, Ruth Hilts worked in several mediums over the years. The paintings reflect her love of the high desert country. She is noted for her "Nevada Earth' series in which she made pigments from soils, rocks and minerals of the Nevada desert.
