Twenty-four Views of Italy, drawn from nature. London: Moser and Harris, [1818]. A splendid collection of views of Rome and Naples, representing a turning point in the history of European lithography. With these views, produced during his trip to Italy, Hullmandel introduced the art of lithography to England. The work is undated on the title page, but it can be deduced from many of the plates, which bear the date 1818. Among the plates are views of the ports of Baia and Pozzuoli, the garden of Capodimonte, and the Torre del Sannazaro on the Via di Posillipo. Oblong folio (264 x 400mm). 24 lithographic plates (some slightly cropped, some light browning and soiling, some staining, one plate with marginal restoration). Contemporary half-calf, gilt title and decorations on spine and covers, marbled paper covers (front cover almost detached, wear and chips to joints and extremities). IT Twenty-four Views of Italy, drawn from nature. Londra: Moser and Harris, [1818]. Splendida raccolta di vedute dedicata a Roma e Napoli, che rappresenta un momento di svolta nella storia della litografia europa. Con queste vedute, infatti, frutto del suo viaggio in Italia, Hullmandel introdusse l'arte della litografia in Inghilterra. L'opera non presenta datazione al frontespizio, ma la si può ricavare dalle molte delle tavole che recano la data 1818. Si segnalano, tra le altre, vedute dei porti di Baia e Pozzuoli, il giardino di Capodimonte, la Torre del Sannazaro sulla via di Posillipo. Folio oblungo (264 x 400mm). 24 tavole litografiche (alcune carte lievemente rifilate, alcune lievi bruniture e tracce di polvere, alcune macchie e una tavola con restauro marginale). Mezza pelle coeva, titolo e decori in oro al dorso e ai piatti, piatti in carta marmorizzata (piatto anteriore quasi staccato, difetti alle giunture e alcune perdite soprattutto alle estremità).
