Displayed in the Egyptian Collection Wing, the exhibition featured 16 short films, one titled 'Scribe'. Here, Kentridge silently enacts interactions between scribes, inspired by Percy Bysshe Shelley's poem 'Ozymandias'. Adaptations of the Scribe imagery, including the etching, depict Kentridge reciting Shelley's poem.
