    DER WEINHÄNDLER Öl auf Holz, verso zwei Verstrebungen. 58 x 36 cm. Links unten signiert „Kern H“. Verso ein rotes Wachssiegel. In Prunkrahmen. In einem einfachen Innenraum ein stehender älterer Mann mit Hut und umgebundener Schürze, freudig mit leichtem Lächeln die beiden glänzenden Weintraubenrispen in seiner linken Hand betrachtend, die er einem schräg gehaltenen Korb in seiner rechten Hand mit hellen, roten und blauen Weintraubenrispen entnommen hat. Hinter ihm ein großes Weinfass und eine brennende Kerze auf einem niedrigen Tisch. In der vorderen rechten Ecke ein weiterer Korb mit blauen Trauben und eine geöffnete Wassermelone.
