Hans Kerner an Austrian, Vienna artist born in 1919. He studied with Prof. Alois Zabehlicky (1883-1962) and at the Graphische Lehr and Versuchsanstalt (who became famous for his still-lifes with flowers and fruits). Later he attended also the Viennese Academy of Fine. In the war he was injured and lost one leg. This is why he always has to stay in his studio and why he likes to paint small figure-paintings.
