Waddington'sOriginal watercolor painting by English artist Leigh Mulhall Kilpin (b. 1853-1919). This work was painted during his stay in England. Kilpin was known for his landscapes. The work needs to be cleaned, and there is wear around the signature. However the work is in overall good condition, with no rips, tears, or creases. Measures 16 inches by 22.5 inches. The painting is mounted on a cardboard backing.

His art exhibits the eclectic taste of art in the 19th century and his talent to work within many areas. After moving to Montreal, Canada in 1906, Kilpin was inspired to depict the Canadian landscape, as can be seen in this depiction of the Quebec countryside.
