Excellent condition, never framed or displayed, lightly tipped onto original backing. This is a 1970 print from wood blocks, printed by The Japan Association for the 1970 World Exposition for a very limited edition portfolio Selected Masters of Ukiyo-e Prints. This print can also be found in many important collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Art Institute of Chicago.

            Torii Kiyonaga (Japanese, 1752–1815). This older woodblock print bear's Kiyonaga's name middle left. It shows a group of women in the clouds. It is housed in a black bamboo pattern frame with a tiered mat. The print has wear and creases consistent with age. The frame has paint loss.
